Your hiring workspace, in your assistant.

Create and publish jobs, find talent-pool matches, invite selected candidates and manage hiring through Draft's MCP connection.

Open connection settings

Connect in a few steps

  1. In your assistant's connector or MCP settings, add a remote HTTP server with the URL below. Paste it into the URL field.
  2. Sign in to Draft with your existing account. You must be an owner or admin of the company you connect.
  3. Select that company and enable Read applicants. Leave editing and publishing off unless you need them.
  4. Choose Allow, then start a new conversation in your assistant.

For Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. For Codex CLI, use:

codex mcp add draft-jobs --url https://draft.jobs/api/mcp
codex mcp login draft-jobs --scopes jobs:read, candidates:read

Assistant plans and organization policies may limit custom connections. The server URL is the same for all companies; sign-in determines which company you can access.

Try it

Run me through candidates applying for “Product Technical Lead”. Summarize their relevant experience, screening answers and current stage.
Find candidates in my talent pool who could fit my Account Executive vacancy. List them with short reasoning and any gaps in the evidence.

Follow up with the people you want to invite. Draft can preview and send their invitations, read interview feedback, move applicants through your actual stages, and record hiring outcomes. Invitations do not book calendar slots.

Your assistant can retrieve evidence for your review. Hiring decisions stay with your team. Changes to ratings, notes, stages, rejections or jobs need the corresponding permission and an explicit request.

Permissions and data

Each connection acts as the member who authorized it, within one company. Read access shares requested job or applicant information with your chosen assistant, including profiles, screening answers, CV excerpts and team notes. Content inside those documents can contain personal information.

Sending invitations, changing applicants and creating, editing or publishing jobs are optional permissions. Moving a stage can trigger configured emails and team notifications.

Revoke access in Settings → Claude, Codex & AI agents. Revocation prevents future requests; it does not remove information already received by the assistant. See our privacy policy and your assistant provider's data controls.

Troubleshooting

No Draft tools? Start a new conversation after connecting. If necessary, restart your assistant.

Permission denied? Reconnect and enable the permission for your request. Reading candidates needs Read applicants.

Wrong company? Ask “Which Draft company am I connected to?” Reconnect to choose a different company.

Connection expired or revoked? Sign in again through the assistant's connection settings.
