Product Technical Lead

Own the technical direction of several real SaaS products and help build a small, highly productive AI-native engineering team.

Hubtal is looking for a hands-on Product Technical Lead to take technical ownership of Emerhub, RecruitGo and future products. You will work directly with the management, help hire and guide dedicated product engineers, and use frontier coding agents extensively to increase development speed without sacrificing reliability.

This is not a traditional engineering-management role. You will remain hands-on, make architectural decisions, solve difficult production problems and shape how AI-assisted development is used across the company.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on software engineering background, ideally in full-stack SaaS product development.

• Experience owning architecture, infrastructure, deployments and production reliability.

• Advanced practical use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Fable, Codex, Cursor or similar.

• Ability to use AI agents for codebase exploration, implementation, debugging, testing and refactoring.

• Strong judgment in reviewing AI-generated code and identifying architectural, security or reliability issues.

• Comfortable working across frontend, backend, databases, APIs and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience with modern web stacks such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js and PostgreSQL.

• Able to translate business and product requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.

• High level of ownership: able to investigate problems independently and take them through to production.

• Good communication skills and ability to work directly with the management and product teams.

• Comfortable reviewing and mentoring other engineers while remaining highly hands-on.
